   This trim level of the Ford TAURUS is the sport  model.  This trim level was available on the TAURUS from 1989 to present day. The TAURUS SHO was introduced to replace the MT-5 models.  The 1989-1995 SHOs benefited from a Yamaha Dual Over-Head Cam V6 engine either with a 3.0L(89-95) or a 3.2L(93-95).  The 96+ SHOs benfit from a powerful V8 engine.    (MSRP $28,920 for a 1998 TAURUS SHO Sedan).
